less consumption or more technology?
In the developed world we live in a way that is unsustainable in terms of use of resources and impact on the climate. Some argue that we need to cut our heavy consumption now. Others argue that we do not need to change because revolutionary technologies will solve climate change and eliminate natural constraints such as land, water, energy and minerals. After all, technology has solved many of our problems up to now. Who is right? Should we trust in the power of technology or take steps to change our way of life? Are you prepared to consume less?
