The founders and moderators of Learning Experiences are well-read and globally educated, highly experienced at preparing, presenting and moderating participatory courses in university and conference settings.

Our courses & pop-ups are interesting and fun. They include:
- A participative learning experience
- A course pack of current readings in advance
- Discussion notes for each class
- Recommended books
- Topical videos & article links e-mailed to participants
- Limited in-person classes of 30. Online classes have no limit
- For online classes, an interactive experience using the chat function
Prices (all including HST)
- Our online course prices are $6 per session and our in-person prices are $10 per session
- Course fees over our costs are being donated to food charities, locally and globally

John Simke practiced as a Chartered Accountant and management consultant for over 30 years, working with governments and large corporations. His main interests are international relations, economics, reading and fitness.
Pat Simke began her career as an RN later becoming a provincial healthcare planner, then federal senior advisor on the Canada Health Act while earning an MBA. Work experience on the Economic Committee of Privy Council was followed by owning 2 businesses, finishing her career as a stock broker. Her main Interests are politics and economics, reading and fitness.
Pat & John also have taken several programs in politics and economics at Cambridge University and the London School of Economics. Pat & John created Learning Experiences after moderating courses at LIFE Institute for several years.
