What’s Our Healthcare Future?
Will you thrive in the new Healthcare?
This course is sold out. You can go on the waiting list by sending us an e-mail here.
We have all been reading horrific stories about healthcare recently. It makes us wonder if our healthcare system problems are temporary or permanent. Are there going to be adequate services available for us in the future? What could fix our current system? What can we learn from other places? What’s the best option? And bottom-line, is a decent system affordable? In this course we’ll look at patients’ prospects in ‘modern healthcare’.
The Federal Government and Government of Ontario agreed in February to invest 8.4 billion over 10 years in Ontarians’ access to family health services when needed; timely, equitable, and quality mental health, substance use and addictions services; and access to our own electronic health information. But how big is the problem? How do our healthcare system’s outcomes compare with peers. How is big money pushing the direction of global healthcare?
Competition for any new or repurposed public money for healthcare will be fierce.
What's it all going to mean for you and your family?
