The Rapidization of Life
COURSE FULL. YOU CAN E-MAIL US AT [email protected] TO JOIN THE WAITING LIST
For those in the working world life has become a race against time and the demands of 24/7 connectedness to
work. Technology has speeded up everything. All this in the name of progress and the belief that “more is better”. What we have created for many is a life that is seriously out of balance between work and relationships, and between consumption and reflection.
Is this way of living a necessary condition of our socio-economic system? Should it and could it be reversed, and if so, how? Do people have to make a choice between accepting this lack of balance or totally opting out? Is there a middle ground and how can it be found?
In this course we will look at the underlying causes of the rapidization of life, and ways in which life could be brought into greater balance. We will look at societies where there already is balance and ask ourselves why this could not be achieved here. Come away understanding the social trends driven by Millennials that will make life more livable and meaningful.
